YORK Light Opera presents A Night With The Light, four evenings of songs at Joseph Rowntree Theatre, York, from Wednesday to Saturday next week.
The 7.30pm concerts comprise full company numbers, solos and duets musically directed by Philip Redding, interspersed with dance routines choreographed by Julie-Ann Smith and Martin Richardson.
The shows in the spotlight include Grease, Witches Of Eastwick, Miss Saigon, Les Miserables, The Phantom Of The Opera, Mack And Mabel and Chess.
Publicist Tony Reeves says: "Next week's show could practically be called a showcase for new talent. Although most of the cast have appeared with us previously, for many this will be their first solo outing."
