An unemployed 42-year-old man this afternoon appeared before York magistrates accused of a double murder.
John Paul Marshall, of no fixed address, is alleged to have killed York men Kevin Mulgrew, 38, and Daniel Wall, 27, between November 30 and December 4 last year in the city. The magistrates sent him in custody to appear before York Crown Court on Friday, July 2. He made no application for bail.
