PUPILS from York's Millthorpe School will be welcoming friends from across the water.
They will be playing hosts to students from Geschwister-Scholl Gymnasium in Stadtlohn, in Germany, who will be experiencing life in an English school for a week.
As well as sampling lessons, they will visit Scarborough, explore York, and look at English history through a tour round the city's Castle Museum.
Millthorpe students have organised a treasure hunt to keep their German friends entertained while they are exploring York.
Exchange organiser Liz Abell said pupils from Millthorpe had visited their German counterparts in March and enjoyed the experience. The party from Stadtlohn will be arriving at Millthorpe School tomorrow.
