A NORTH Yorkshire firm has won a contract - for a load of old rubbish.
Thirsk-based GSM Graphic Arts is producing a range of labels for a firm which turns rubbish including printed circuit boards, juice cartons and carrier bags into new products.
Cutouts, the Huddersfield-based company behind the innovative items, is using many of its products to promote the Government's Rethink Rubbish campaign.
Cutouts director Graham Noble said: "We came to GSM Graphic Arts because we were looking for a label in keeping with the high-tech appearance of our products made from recycled printed circuit boards, such as mousemats, organisers, clipboards and business cards.
"GSM's anodised aluminium labels fitted the bill perfectly. Not only did it look good but the aluminium has some recycled content."
