Division five leaders Dunnington raced to victory in just 25 overs at Bolton Percy where Gary Andrew hit 63 and James Rossington made 32no against his father's club.
Bolton's total of 141-5 in a 31-over innings was built by Peter Atkinson 33, Bill Preacher 39 and Martin Pears, who made 26no.
Carlton Towers' batsmen had a field day at Hovingham but their bowlers were unable to claim the valuable tenth home wicket and had to settle for a draw.
Darren Graves led the way for Towers in making 81no while Neil Robinson hit 70 and Jonathon Dilks completed a trio of half-centurions by making 55 in a total of 233-2.
In reply, Mark Redhead made 25 and Richard John 28 and the home side gained a draw at 157-9 despite Steve Landers' 3-41 and 4-19 from Phil Day.
Thirsk's young bowler David Bird put in a great effort to defend his side's modest 84-9 and captured 5-44 before Tadcaster Magnet squeezed to a two-wicket win. Jamie Howe made 26 for Thirsk but Kevin Wakefield with 5-26 and John Reynolds with 4-39 ensured the absence of batting points.
York III grabbed the full 30 points when they notched 210-7 and then dismissed Sessay for 126. Steve Jones top-scored with 90 while Chris Taylor with 26no and Chris Horner 24 provided back-up as Ian Wilkinson took 4-45. Steve Green took 4-19 with Sessay's effort led by Mike Shuttleworth 21 and Richard Ormston 20.
Cawood dropped to third when their game against Stamford Bridge became a rain victim after 30 overs during which Stuart Baxter (55) and Andy Cliffe (27) helped their side to 134-3.
