The nation's biggest ever sing-song will take place when the Beatles' classic All You Need Is Love rings round the country on Monday.

Following the success of the massed performance of Lou Reed's Perfect Day in 2000, Sir Paul McCartney has endorsed the Beatles' classic "All You Need Is Love" as this year's BBC Music Live anthem, to celebrate the Golden Jubilee.

Wherever you are, in whatever musical style you choose, you can participate in a performance of this year's BBC Music Live anthem "All You Need Is Love", endorsed by Sir Paul McCartney, and to be launched by the Queen in Berkshire.

The live music beacon will travel the length and breadth of the UK between 1pm and 1.30pm, and be shown live on BBC 1 Television. BBC North Yorkshire - Radio York will broadcast the song from the centre of the city so that listeners at home or in the car can join in.

Below we print the lyrics to All You Need Is Love. Tune into BBC North Yorkshire - Radio York on 103.7, 104.3 & 95.5fm and sing along.....

All You Need Is Love

Love, love, love. Love, love, love.

Love, love, love, love, love.

Chorus: All you need is love, all you need is love,

All you need is love, love, love is all you need.

There's nothing you can do that can't be done,

Nothing you can sing that can't be sung,

Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game,

It's easy

Chorus

There's nothing you can make that can't be made,

No one you can save that can't be saved

Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time,

It's easy

Chorus

There's nothing you can know that isn't known,

Nothing you can see that isn't shown,

Nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be,

It's easy

Chorus

There's nothing you can do that can't be done,

Nothing you can sing that can't be sung,

Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game,

It's easy
