The Evening Press reviewed Le Raj restaurant in Ousegate, Selby (June 11). I have been using this restaurant together with a large circle of friends and family since it opened.
Sally Fletcher is obviously looking for quantity not quality. I recently paid £14.50 for poppadoms and pickles, two main course chicken dishes together with four chappatis. It was plenty for two people with a healthy appetite.
After a trip to India last year I can honestly say that Le Raj offers authentic varied cuisine. This ensures our return with such regularity that the staff now automatically remember that I prefer very little salt in my food.
I don't think Sally Fletcher's review will do any damage to the business. If her review keeps your readers away then this will guarantee the regulars a table at the best restaurant in the Selby area.
