A NORTH Yorkshire design duo were today competing in the final of a prestigious national competition.
Rosie Ellis, 23, and Matt East, 24, who design and make unusual garden accessories and theatrical sets and props, were representing Yorkshire and Humber in the final of the Shell Livewire Young Entrepreneur of the Year, in London today.
The pair won the regional competition with their business Scenecraft UK, which is based at Easingwold Business Park.
More than 1,200 business people under 30 entered the competition, but Rosie and Matt beat off the competition to make it into the top twelve. They will learn their fate at the awards dinner at 10pm tonight.
