A trickle of entries for the 2004 Evening Press Business of the Year has become a stream and soon it will be a torrent.
So dive in as the floodgates open and enjoy the ride!
The process of rewarding you and your staff with deserved honours could not be easier. There are 12 categories, from which you can choose two.
Simply beam in on the internet to www.eveningpressbusinessawards.co.uk and back up your clickbox choices with up to 1,000 words which you can cut and paste into an interactive entry form.
Or, if you prefer a free hard copy of the entry form, contact Sky Ferrey, Evening Press Business Awards 2004, PO Box 29, 76/86 Walmgate, York YO1 9YN.
Simply entering has its own rewards. Every submission will be scrutinised for a profile of the venture which will not only appear in the Evening Press's daily news pages and monthly Business Press, but will also be echoed on our award-winning website, www.thisisyork.co.uk, which attracts more than one million page impressions a month. There it will stay - for months, until the end of the competition. That is worldwide attention indeed - and considering that entry is free, it is a compelling business reason to boast your prowess.
Then there is the prospect of reaching the finals and taking part in the glittering awards ceremony in the Voltigeur Suite in the Knavesmire Stand at York Racecourse on Thursday, November 18.
Closing date for entries is July 30, but hurry. The quicker you enter the longer your exposure in the marketplace.
This year's theme is The Future Dawns. Does it dawn for you?
