Keith Mitchell (Selby) scored an easy win in Sunday's 42-peg York open match on Marley Lake at the Laybourne Lakes complex.
Taking full advantage of a plum draw at 'hot' peg 46, he plundered the recently introduced extra stocks of pastie carp on pole and pellet at 11m to the tune of 62lb 10oz.
Well adrift was Phil Austin (Barlby Village Stores), who took 27lb of carp to 2lb on pole and meat from peg 4.

Saturday's 55-peg open match at the Willows saw Dave Pollitt (Hirst Tackle) take a decisive step towards the league title in the penultimate round.
With his main rival Ben Fisk (Team Gem) on holiday, Pollitt forced home the advantage to finish in second place.
He was not good enough to beat Andy Barker (Sensas Walton), who netted an impressive 58lb 8oz from peg 33.
Taking advantage of a spare peg to his left he fished pole and pellet tight to the bank for carp to 5lb.
Pollitt, at peg 36, targeted the island with cat meat for 55lb 14oz of carp to 5lb plus tench and ide to a pound.
