YORK City Knights can go all the way and lift the Arriva Trains Cup.

That was the verdict of Halifax caretaker-coach Anthony Farrell after his Healthplan National League One side were dumped out in the quarter-finals by Richard Agar's NL2 warriors.

The Knights, who have also knocked out Featherstone, now face another NL1 club, Hull Kingston Rovers, in the semi-finals. But Farrell reckons the York outfit are as good as any team Fax have faced this season.

"York are a decent side," the former Super League star told the Evening Press.

"They've got good players who can read the game well and work hard for each other, and that work ethic is all you can ask for.

"They didn't make as many mistakes as we made and that's going to tell in the end.

"Good luck to them in this competition. Everyone's got a chance now and they are as good as any team I've played against this year - though if you give any team as much ball as we gave them then they're going to break you down eventually.

"They were smart about things, so fair play to them."
