EVEN as we hand over the Save Terry's today petition, factory equipment was being measured up for auction.
Meanwhile, workers have to sit through presentations on the terrific success of Kraft, the parent company which is to sign the death warrant of the York firm.
This is indicative of how the US bosses have treated Terry's. They consider it nothing more than a small outpost in a global empire, to be run-down and sold off with little thought for staff or city.
Even our letter to the Kraft chief executive has been ignored.
Everyone who signed our petition has our thanks. It remains a slim hope that the near-5,000 of you who did will get through where other protests have failed.
