The clash between the top two sides in division four yielded a five-wicket win for Selby who took over pole position from opponents Thorp Arch & Boston Spa.
Paul Wadsworth with 4-41 and Chris Dye 3-23 bowled TABS out but not before Mike Cole (32), Andy Heaps (25), Steve Raine (32) and Chris Cole (26) had taken them to 152. Dave Linnacre 3-23 accounted for Ian Lake (35) and Matt Hoyle (27) but Clyde Connellon took command with an unbeaten 70 for Selby.
Sheriff Hutton paceman Richard Armitage had his best league bowling figures when his 8-52 in 18 overs had Osbaldwick all out for 92. Sheriff had made 153-6 with James Wilford making 32no, Ben Tompkins (32). Openers Chris Dodsworth (29) and Chris Megone (27) put on 61 for the first wicket.
Hornsea lost at Huby by seven wickets after contributing to their own downfall by handing 67 extras to their opponents. Batting first, Hornsea were dismissed for 171 as Dan Grainger took 3-24 and Paul Moore 4-17. In reply Darren Howell hit 61.
At Londesbrough Park, Gary Sanders made 40 and Alan Robinson 39 in Easingwold's all out score of 115 with home bowler Richards taking 5-50. Robinson took all four Londesbrough wickets to fall, at a cost of 38, but could do little to prevent a home win.
Mike Robinson came out of retirement to assist Civil Service at Pocklington and made 54 useful runs. With Dave Hanley hitting 95 and Mark Bradley 24, Service were able to ward off the threat posed by Simon Hill (4-43) to reach 232-7. Pocklington's Dave Gamble went one better by making 96 as he shared a 110-run stand with Mark Croft (29).
