I ENCLOSE my cheque for £100 dated September 1 in the hope of being the first to accept Coun Hill's wager that United Kingdom Independence Party MEP Candidates will not prosper in the European Union Elections (Letters, May 25).
My membership of UKIP reflects my disgust with the pro-EU objectives pursued by the Conservative and Labour/'New' Labour Prime Ministers since Heath. On three occasions I have voted for no-chancers.
Mr Hill, doubtless adequately supported by his councillor's remuneration and expenses, is relying upon EU finance support for the Northern England/Yorkshire postal vote elections giving unlimited rein to initiatives driven by two-jag Prescott QC (Quatro Casae).
I urge all voters dissatisfied with options offered - and the choice will cost the UK dearly - to vote UKIP.
HM Luccock,
Crossways,
Badger Hill,
York.
