A YORK cleaner plans to take her husband on a cruise - after scooping more than £202,000 playing bingo.
Jean Pilmoor, 62, won the cash at the Mecca Club, in Fishergate, where she was playing on Sunday with her son and daughter-in-law.
As well as winning the £200,000 National Bingo Game prize, she took a further £2,078 regional prize and £157 house money. York has a lucky history of bingo wins, but Jean's was the club's biggest ever National Game success.
Part-time school cleaner Jean, who has played bingo for 25 years, said her husband, Mick, thought she was joking when she rang him from the club to tell him the news.
She said: "I have been quite lucky over the years with small wins, but I never dreamed I would ever win this amount. It just won't sink in."
