Division One leaders Malton and Old Malton outclassed a Ripon side whose troubles were made worse when one of their bowlers Paul Reynolds was removed from their attack by the umpires after his first three deliveries had all been ruled to be too high.
Ripon's batsmen but up a dismal show as Chris Hudson sliced through the line-up like a knife through butter, his 8-25 having the home side all out for only 57.
Ripon's depleted attack then failed to gain any success as Greg Johnson made 27 not out in a ten- wicket victory.
In marked contrast, runs flowed at Tadcaster Magnet, where Hornsea's Guy Martinson hit 101 and Paul Clappison 102 not out.
Clappison and Richard Medforth (39no) added 139 in an unbroken fourth wicket stand which was curtailed by a 44th over declaration after Hornsea had amassed 288-3.
With Hornsea going for gold, Tadcaster's batsmen gained some solace as they took advantage of an attacking field. Richard Taylor's 72, combined with Will Walker's 37, enabled them to draw at 198-7. John McKenzie took 3-37 for Hornsea.
Osbaldwick had the worst of a draw after Whitkirk hit 250-7, but the long standing premier division side remain on course for a quick return to the top bracket.
Whitkirk's high score was the result of a good team effort which saw a nap hand of batsmen make runs.
Craig Shipton (54) was the only one to reach a half century but good knocks also came from Neil Edgecock (30), skipper Andy Peirson (42), Phil Scouller (29) and Matt Murphy (26no). Chris Oldfield was the pick of the bowlers with 3-73.
Osbaldwick's useful reply of 197-7 was fronted by Glen Jones (36), Richard Carew (35) and Simon Levison (32) while Brett Hugo took 3-52 for Whitkirk.
The away team again had the advantage in a draw at Pocklington, who narrowly missed out on the fifth batting point when they closed at 199-8 in reply to Driffield's 227-6.
The Woodcocks were to the fore with Phil making 54 and Dave 48, although Andy Winterbottom top scored for Driffield with 57.
Four batsmen then combined to gain a draw for Pocklington despite Chris Smith's 4-44. Ian Camwell (34), Tim Nettleton (28) and Neil Jackson (42) did the early work and then an unbeaten 47 from Kev Hinch ensured safety.
