FORMER York student and busker Alistair Griffin returned to the city to perform in support of a charity's sponsored walk.
Alistair, who narrowly missed winning TV's Fame Academy last year and went on to score a top five hit with Bring It On, played acoustic sets outside the Minster as the Missing Miles 2004 Walk from Edinburgh to London came through York.
The walk will raise money for the National Missing Persons Helpline, which helps missing people and supports their families while they wait for news.
Alistair will perform again on June 26 when the walk reaches the capital.
