Alex Lloyd looks forward to the arrival in York of Peter Andre.
GET ready to scream. The man behind the most unbelievable comeback in pop is hitting York tomorrow night.
Yes, Aussie sex-god Peter Andre will be bringing his six-pack fuelled catchy pop to our very own Ikon & Diva. The baby-oiled one will be performing recent number one single Mysterious Girl.
He will also be belting out the soon-to-be-released Insania, which he famously thought up while trapped in the jungle on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
As the whole country knows, Peter is dating the queen of Page 3, Jordan, who it is rumoured could be joining him for some York hospitality tomorrow night.
The appearance is quite a coup for the Clifton Moor super-club, which recently played host to hip-hop artist Fatman Scoop, who performed his number one single, Be Faithful.
Last week, Judge Jules played a set to re-launch hard house and trace night Turbulence, with Rob Tissera lined up for June 9.
Also appearing tomorrow will be up-and-coming new band Fifth Avenue, protgs of ex-Westlife member Bryan McFadden, and as coincidence would have it, the husband of Peter's junglemate Kerry McFadden.
The five-piece boy and girl group already have five top ten hits under their belt in their native Ireland, as well as massive airplay in France and Sweden.
Mark, Terry, Danny, Jessica and Beverley write their own material and have supported Westlife, Shaggy, Cher, Shania Twain and Blue - a pretty impressive CV.
Mark was a founding member of Boyzone while Beverley has recently been linked with bad-boy Colin Farrell.
Their debut UK single, Spanish Eyes, is due to be released on July 12 on Religion and is tipped to one of the big tunes of the summer.
And if that weren't enough, there will be the usual funky house, dance and R&B in Ikon, with pop and party tunes in Diva.
Ikon & Diva, Clifton Moor, York, 01904 693999, www.ikondiva.co.uk. Saturday, May 22, 10pm-2.30am. Entry: £5 with a flyer, £7.50 without.
