YORK people are being urged to take advantaged of subsidised courses available in the city during Adult Learner's week.
The courses are aimed at allowing people to learn new skills, gain university qualifications and train for work.
The courses are being provided by Leeds Met Training, part of Leeds Metropolitan University.
Helen Irving, head of Leeds Met Training, said: "Our subsidised courses are a great opportunity for local people to benefit from university expertise in informal, local training groups, whether they want to change career direction, access training for staff, learn new skills, progress to degree level, or simply meet new people."
Courses are available in project management, service sector management, and e-Business, management in health and social care organizations.
