Dunnington II are making an early bid for a speedy return to division four and head division five by 15 points after recording an emphatic victory over Thirsk in a game played at Huby.
Thirsk bowlers toiled with scant reward as Gary Andrew and Greg Whitecross amassed a massive 247 for the first wicket.
Andrew fell in the finale after making 123, his 11th league century while his partner, having recorded his maiden century a couple of weeks ago, repeated the three figure feat by making 105no as Dunnington made 247-1.
Thirsk showed some batting aptitude when Andy Elders made 40 and Martin Harper 38 but Gerard Camplejon took 4-51 and Robert Chipps 3-19 to dismiss them for 159.
York III broke their divisional duck when they had a 132 run win at Carlton Towers.
A feature of York's innings was a 111 third wicket stand between Steve Jones 76 and Peter Bainbridge 51 and this enabled York to reach 186-7 despite a good effort by Phil Day, who took 5-54.
Carlton's batsmen then failed miserably as Anthony Hall took 4-12 and they were only able to make a total of 54.
Huntington's effort at Cawood was only marginally better when Nigel Bartram's 4-13 had them all out for 56.
Earlier Cawood had made an all out score of 170 thanks to the efforts of Stuart Baxter 32, Rich Nicholson 35, Dicken Edwards 26 and Shaun Robson 30. Two Huntington bowlers deserved credit, Steve Beales taking 4-70 and Stuart Ross 4-45.
A first wicket stand of 103 between Stuart Robinson 49 and Keith Till 60 proved to be decisive when Sessay batted first at Hovingham. Prolific wicket-taker Mike Hemmingway had to be content with a modest 4-85 after taking 23 wickets in the first three games.
For Hovingham, Steve Thompson made 39 but Ian Watkinson took 4-28 and Ian Lane 3-23 as Hovingham were held to 101-8.
