York Cricket Club head out this weekend on a double redemption mission.
They need to address their comfortable defeat last Saturday at the hands of Doncaster.
They visit Castleford, who eclipsed York's chance of the Yorkshire League championship last season, so there is a revenge element to the match.
Cas's famous Savile Park ground has suffered severe vandalism in the close season, with their pavilion set on fire and covers and scorebox both damaged.
York expect to be strengthened by the return of batters Simon Mason and Nick Kay, but will miss Marcus Wood, who is at a family wedding.
Rob Flack takes over the captaincy. Nigel Durham returns to keep wicket and John McGrady, who has done an excellent job with both bat and gloves, resumes in the Seconds, who entertain Pickering.
On Sunday, York return to Wickersley to replay their rain-damaged Cockspur National KO Cup tie. Wood returns in place of Aussie Riley O'Neill, who is ineligible.
