North Yorkshire Service Area Under-15s produced an excellent performance to hammer a strong Calderdale side 42-10.
Tries from James McGregor, Danny Lazjouri, Danny Allen and Scott Jackson, plus two conversions from Allen, gave the home side a convincing half-time advantage at 20-4.
North Yorkshire played up the slope in the second period and, although they allowed the visitors to cross first, they soon found their rhythm.
Tries from Ross Divorty, Allen and a brace from the flying Imi Lewis sealed a fine victory, man of the match Allen adding three more conversions.
Selby Warriors U11s entered the tenth Whitley Bay RL Festival and lost four of their five games.
In a physical first game, the Warriors were camped on Dudley Hill's line for much of the first half but Hill scored against the run of play after the break and in the last minute Josh Skilbeck was held up on the line.
Selby then beat Killingbeck 20-4 with tries from Carl Wilkinson (2), Luke Liddle and Danny Bate and in the next game led Featherstone Lions through a Wilkinson try before two late scores denied them victory.
Ince Rose Bridge, the eventual tournament winners, beat the Warriors 12-4, Stevie Bell getting Selby's try.
Several injuries were sustained in this tie and the next, against Keighley Cougars, was a game too far, yet they still only lost 8-0.
Bell was the supporters' player of the tournament, players' player and top tackler. The coach's choice was Liddle and the most improved was Adam Chappel.
Warriors U9s also took part in the festival and chalked up two wins, against Whitley Bay and Keighley Cougars.
In the other three matches the opposition were too experienced but a real upset looked on the cards before Victoria Rangers won 16-8.
Dean Spooner was the supporters' player of the tournament and the players' player, edging out most improved player Christopher Marshall and Billy Millin.
Michael Pegg was top scorer with three tries, top tackler and coach's choice.
New Earswick emerging-8s had a great game against Shaw Cross. Most improved player was Jack Whattam, top tackler was Dominic Judge and man of the match was Zak Johnson. Try-scorers were Nathan Balcomb (3) and Charlie Watling (2).
All Blacks U8s also did well against Shaw Cross. Most improved was Jack Ireland, who scored a try, top tackler was Kieran Parker, who scored two, and man-of-the-match was Lewis Deighton, who also crossed. The other try scorer was Sebastian Gectzy.

New Earswick All Blacks U9's beat a well-drilled Rodley Rockets side. 8-5.
Man-of-the-match was Reece Richardson, Jordan Bracewell, the top tackler and the most improved player award went to Jacob Mayled. Joe Friend scored a hat-trick and other tries came from Sam Gell (2), James Green (2) and Bracewell.
