A MOTIVATIONAL speakers' jamboree is planned at the Royal York Hotel next month.
Already 35 business organisations from all over the UK have booked for the Experience The Difference event on June 9. It is being organised by Clive Gott, the firefighter turned professional speaker, who now describes himself as an author and "enter-trainer", and is managing director of Lighthouse Training Ltd, of Tadcaster. There will be room for 65 more delegates at £99 plus VAT, which should cover costs after £10 from each ticket is donated to Scope, the UK disability organisation.
The chairman will be former award-winning BBC television reporter and producer Alistair Macdonald, who now teaches senior management how to "take the heat out of the hotseat".
Guest speakers will include Jan Brause, an expert in emotional intelligence and accelerated learning, who will show how to harness brainpower to competence and productivity in the workplace, and Will Kintish, who will explain the art of networking, including how to dump someone and move on.
