Andrew Grayson recorded the best bowling figures of the day when he followed his 42 in Pickering's 115-7 with 8-26 in 17 overs to wipe out Clifton Alliance for 81.
Jim Feaster lent a hand with the bat when he chipped in with 30 in support of Grayson as Alliance's Dave Heartshorne claimed 4-41.
Acomb hit a big score against Woodhouse Grange but were unable to dismiss their opponents and slipped into second place in division three, a point behind Pickering, after gaining an advantage draw. Richard Clayton was Acomb's gem when he hit 127 off 104 deliveries while other runs came from Paul Hughes, who helped Clayton add 106 for the first wicket, Rob Littlewood 29 and John Webster 27 as Acomb amassed 237-4 in a reduced allocation of 40 overs.
In reply, Stuart Craven and Paul Townsley each made 29 as Grange moved to a draw at 130-7.
The Yapham players must be wondering if their season will ever start after suffering a third successive total wash out, Bolton Percy's ground waterlogged.
Heworth's batsmen made poor headway against Malton for whom Steve Oldfield took 4-9 in 15 overs. He sent down ten maidens as Heworth mustered 78. Andy Raines hit 46 as Malton ran out six-wicket victors.
Wilberfoss' first win of the season was a rousing ten-wicket destruction of New Earswick. Andy James 36, James Routledge 34 and Andy Freeman 36no countered Dave Chaplin's 3-41 to put up 146-6.
But it paled after the break when John Chaplin hit 75no and Phil Stothard 65no to see Wilberfoss to a winning 149-0.
Batting first at Stillington, Neil Readman made 45 and Paul Van Dyke 43 to help Bubwith reach 150-9.
Stillington gained their first batting bonus points when they replied with 139-9 against Richard Hunter's 6-41.
