ADAM Patterson has set an incredible record in the York and District Junior Cricket PK Accommodation junior cricket leagues.
The Stillington Under-15s bowler destroyed the Yapham batting with an amazing spell of 6-0 in his five overs, all clean bowled.
His amazing effort gave Stillington victory by 135 runs, having seen his team compile 159-0, with Tom Banks and Shaun Speck both making 51 retired.
It was an outstanding performance by Stillington in what was the first set of U15 league matches, the opening set having been a complete washout.
Elsewhere, there were wins for Malton against Clifton Alliance, M Linsley hitting 52, Ovington over Pocklington by two wickets, Woodhouse Grange at Stamford Bridge by six wickets and Rufforth/Poppleton by 49 runs over York.
In the Hirepoint Under 13 League, Heworth recorded their second victory with a 26-run win at Hemingbrough, Steve Clark (32) and Mark Dobson (29) setting up the victory. Pocklington got off the mark with a seven-wicket win over Sheriff Hutton Bridge.
Newcomers Bishopthorpe started with a 39-run victory over Yapham, S Reeves scoring 28 and taking 3-2.
Bolton Percy had a six-wicket win over Clifton Alliance 'A', Ferguson (4-6) taking the bowling honours.
