LEE Trundle and Richard Hope will renew acquaintances at Swansea tomorrow after being red-carded during a tempestuous clash at Bootham Crescent in November.
Hope will return from a two-match ban to take on Swansea hot-shot Trundle, who still has an outside chance of winning the Third Division's golden boot.
The 27-year-old striker has netted 22 league and cup goals for the Swans this season and a hat-trick tomorrow would draw him level with leading basement marksmen Steve MacLean and Leon Constantine.
There is also speculation that the Minstermen's visit could mark Trundle's last appearance in a Swansea shirt.
The former Wrexham striker still has one year left on his Vetch Field contract but his form has dipped since the departure of Brian Flynn as manager.
He has only netted once in his last seven matches but is sure to attract transfer interest this summer.
The Welsh club could also be saying farewell to veteran goalkeeper Roger Freestone on Saturday.
Freestone, 35, has played 658 games for the Swans since first arriving on loan 15 years ago but is out of contract this summer and unlikely to be offered a new deal.
Having first played for Newport County in 1986 before making 54 appearances for Chelsea and winning one Welsh cap, his distinguished career which has also seen him score three goals for Swansea could draw to a close.
If it is his last game in professional football, he would fall one match short of 750 League and cup appearances.
Freestone is expected to start after his number one rival Brian Murphy limped out of the action at Darlington with a hip injury.
Swansea will be hoping to end the season with a North-East double, having ended a run of six straight defeats with victory over Darlington in their last outing.
Flynn has been succeeded by former Watford FA Cup finalist and ex-QPR number two Kenny Jackett as manager and he will be keen to end the season on a winning note.
Jackett has problems in the left-back position with Michael Howard (hernia) and Leon Hilton (hamstring) both sidelined and on-loan Brentford player Lee Fieldwick being told he is not wanted at Griffin Park or at Vetch Field next season.
Midfielder Jon Coates is likely to fill in while player of the year Andy Robinson is unlikely to recover from a knee injury to take his place in the centre of the park.
Attacking midfielder Karl Connolly is also unfit and Leyton Maxwell has been released.
Minstermen fans aged under 12 will get in tomorrow's match free of charge.
