BUSINESSES in York can learn about the legal requirements of employing people at a workshop run by Business Link York and North Yorkshire.
The Employment Essentials workshop, at the Parsonage Country House Hotel at Escrick, on May 18, is aimed at managers and business owners who want to learn about how to build a flexible workforce.
They will also learn about the differences between various contracts of employment, the implications of unfair dismissal and also family-friendly business policies.
The workshop runs from 9.30am to 12.30pm and tickets cost £55, plus VAT.
