COULD I make a suggestion to the councillors who are trying to fleece motorists yet again? Cyclists should be charged for using the roads because they are nothing but a nuisance and create problems on the road.
While I was in York last week I was nearly cleaned up by two cyclists on different occasions riding through red lights. When I shouted at them all I got was a rude gesture.
Cyclists do not pay road tax so they should not be allowed on the road.
