Alex Lloyd rounds up night-time events for the Bank Holiday weekend.
DON'T you just love this time of year?
The shops are bursting with new clothes, the sun is managing to put in the odd appearance and no sooner have you recovered from one long weekend than another creeps up on you faster than you can say "I'll just stay for the one - I have to be up for work in the morning."
So with three days of freedom ahead until you're back to the grind, here's my bank holiday round up.
Following a dramatic relaunch party on Wednesday night, The Gallery, will be showing off its new look this weekend. The Clifford Street club is open until 3am tonight and tomorrow, and 2am on Sunday. Clubbers will have the chance to sign up for a new loyalty card.
The Slug & Lettuce also has a new look, which is being unveiled tonight from 7pm.
Casa and Bar 38 both have late licenses confirmed for the weekend, as has Kennedy's, which will have a DJ and the dancefloor open on Sunday.
For those who think punk never died, The Clash, Siouxsie And The Banshees, and The Damned will make up the soundtrack at the charmingly-named Bollocks session in the Basement Bar at City Screen, tomorrow from 8pm. Entry is £4.
Those of you wanting something more sedate should try the Pitcher & Piano on Sunday for a riverside barbecue between 4pm and 11pm, weather permitting, accompanied by chilled-out, soulful house, courtesy of Cool Note with DJ Paul Kane.
