Lanarkshire trainer Ian Semple, sending out winners with almost monotonous regularity at the moment, can maintain his purple patch at Musselburgh on Friday.
The Carluke handler can land the edmonds.co.uk Classified Stakes with my Nap selection Sarraaf, the mount of Neil Callan.
Although not the easiest of horses to win with, Sarraaf possesses plenty of ability and a recent sound effort at Thirsk, where he encountered trouble in running, suggests he merits support this time.
The Royal Bank of Scotland supports a £17,000 handicap over seven furlongs and a race which could well be won by a Newmarket raider.
River Treat, trained by Geoff Wragg, is among the line-up and this progressive three-year-old is unlikely to be short of supporters.
An odds-on favourite for a maiden race at Warwick on his reappearance, River Treat duly did the business, admittedly by only a head from Cello, but the pair were fully ten lengths clear of the remainder of the field.
Now tackling his first handicap, River Treat makes stacks of appeal with Kieren Fallon in the saddle.
Fallon, who has such a great following north of the Border, looks set for a profitable afternoon. The champion jockey can also score on the promising Maclean, trained by Sir Michael Stoute, in the Royal Bank of Scotland Maiden Stakes.
Runner-up in both his outings to date, Maclean is expected to make it third time lucky tomorrow.
Fallon also has good prospects of winning the Saffie Joseph & Sons Handicap on Luke After Me.
Alan Swinbank's four-year-old has been running well enough recently to suggest that he can make a bold bid in this seven furlongs contest.
Kevin Darley win on Forfeiter in the Royal Bank of Scotland Median Auction Maiden Stakes.
Trained by David Baron, Forfeiter made his public debut on this course earlier in the month and ran a race full of promise to chase home Bold Marc.
Sure to have benefitted enormously for that outing, Forfeiter is fancied to go one better tomorrow and provide Darley with a winning mount before he heads to Newmarket at the weekend, where he will continue his notable association with the Mark Johnston-trained Attraction in Sunday's ultimatebet.com 1,000 Guineas.
There was to be a precautionary inspection at Nottingham at 4pm this afternoon for tomorrow's meeting. Make a note of Tom Tate's Another Bottle (5.10), who ran a promising race on his reappearance at Doncaster last month.
Friday's tips:
Musselburgh
2.20 Linda Green, 2.50 Forfeiter, 3.20 Toni Alcala, 3.50 River Treat, 4.20 Sarraaf (Nap), 4.50 Maclean, 5.20 Luke After Me.
Nottingham (inspection 4pm)
2.10 Called Up, 2.40 Aahgowangowan, 3.10 Joseph Henry, 3.40 Grey Clouds, 4.10 Well Known, 4.40 Blackthorn, 5.10 Another Bottle.
Tomorrow's other meetings are at Bangor, Sedgefield and Worcester
