New Earswick All Blacks U13's played well to beat Normanton Knights 28-18 in their final game of the season to secure second place in the Yorkshire League second division.
Tries came from Service Area representatives Stella Stannard (3) and Luke Watling (2) but the best performances came from Adam Nicholson and Steve Gardner.
New Earswick's U11s out-manouvred their bigger Doncaster Toll Bar opponents to win 34-26.
There were two tries each for man of the match Dean Layton, top tackler Joel Johnson with other touchdowns coming from Joe Davison, Liam Dawson and Louis Pool. David Smith's all-action display earned him the most improved player award. Dawson, Davison, Jake Atkinson and Tom Barron kicked a goal each.
The U11s will resume training in June on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.30pm to 8pm and are on the look out for new players. For further information contact coaches Phil Pool on 07729 953376 or John Barron on 01904 415619.
James Green, making his debut, was named man of the match in New Earswick All Blacks U9s game at Lock Lane. Jordan Bracewell was best tackler. Sam Gell scored two tries.
