Bishopthorpe, who are relegated from Reserve A of Leeper Hare York and District League, rounded off their season with a 2-2 draw at Old Malton.

Carl Sawdon and Lee Dunning scored for Malton, who have pulled away from the drop zone in recent matches.

Matthew White netted twice and Paul Thompson added a third as St John's College beat Kartiers 3-1, but the result was irrelevant as Dringhouses 2-1 mid-week win over nearest challengers, Kartiers meant that they retained the title.

Huntington clinched the Reserve B title with a 3-1 win at Stamford Bridge. Chris Dower netted first followed by an own goal and Mark Gamble completed the scoring. Adam Hargreaves replied for Stamford.

New Earswick take second place after a 4-0 home win against Heslington. Jamie Heggarty (2), Derek Grant and Paul Harrison were their marksmen.

Copmanthorpe took the lead at Haxby with a Gavin Mears free kick in the first half but after the break Mike Smith equalised and Jon Machin hit the winner for Haxby with ten minutes left.

The Reserve C title race between Nestl Rowntree & Thorpe will go down to the last game when they meet again in Thorpe Willoughby.

In the first encounter Thorpe won 4-3. They took the lead after five minutes through Phil Fowler, Eddie Phillips equalised but Matt Emmett restored Thorpe's lead in the last minute of the first half.

Adam Garner increased Thorpe's lead two minutes after the restart. Phillips reduced the arrears again only for Kevin Taylor to strike for Thorpe in the 74th minute. Five minutes later Ken Davies pulled another back for Rowntree.

In mid-table Hemingbrough concluded their season with a 2-0 derby win at home to Riccall thanks to goals from Darryl Tate and Richard Ireland and Wilberfoss rounded things off with a 3-1 win at Rufforth. Paul Jacques, Mark Hughes and Damon Holden netted their goals and Paul Moss responded for Rufforth.

Tockwith and Amotherby are promoted from Reserve D. Tockwith were confirmed as champions last week. Amotherby had to wait for Norwich Union to play their last game at Heworth and they lost 4-2 with goals from Adam Knight, Andy Innes and Mike Pybus for Heworth.
