YORK'S traffic nightmare eased today when Cemetery Road reopened to vehicles.

Rush-hour traffic in the Fishergate area has been extremely congested as a result, particularly as the works have coincided with the A64 roadworks at Copmanthorpe, causing extra traffic in the city centre.
