WHO is Terry Doyle trying to kid when he says York City could be the 'Arsenal of the Conference'. What a load of rubbish.
The top half of the Conference is on a par with the Third Division. I think it is more likely we would be the Wolves rather than the Arsenal.
The Supporters' Trust have done a wonderful job off the field. But on the pitch the players we have got just are not good enough.
Lack of confidence, etc, is surely down to the managerial and coaching staff. So what do City do? -- give them extensions to their contracts.
There was a good turnout at Cambridge, but how many of those will be at Dover on a Tuesday night? I would not go if I was playing.
I have been a loyal supporter for 40 years but everybody has a breaking point.
Good luck to Carlisle United - at least they are fighting for their survival, while we are just going through the motions.
Maybe Persimmon Homes could do us a favour and brick up the goals, at least we could get a point from our home games.
Communications director Sophie McGill has said: "Let's be positive, prove them all wrong. Let's fight to the end to make sure we succeed." Could someone mention that to the players.
