I AM looking for '66 Heroes to join me on a trekking adventure to Patagonia, Chile in October 2004, in memory of my late husband, football legend Bobby Moore.
After Bobby's death from bowel cancer in 1993, I set up Cancer Research UK's Bobby Moore Fund, which has raised more than £3 million for research into bowel cancer.
We are hoping to raise more than £100,000 from Trek Patagonia. This ten-day challenge will give volunteers the experience of a lifetime, and also the chance to do something to help the thousands of people who are affected by bowel cancer.
Patagonia is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt regions on the globe. Our trek will take place in the Torres del Paine National Park, haven for many species of flora and fauna.
Anyone of 18 or above can join our team, by paying a small registration fee and then reaching a minimum fund-raising target. No experience is needed, just determination and a sense of adventure.
You can find out more about Trek Chile by visiting www.cancerresearchuk.org/treks or calling 0870 606 0016.
