EVEN with the demise of the British car industry, we still see the odd Jaguar in and around York.

But a panther is a much rarer sight. Or rather it was.

Turns out, this cat can motor. After first being seen purring along Hull Road, further reports have come in of a panther prowling around Wigginton Road and Acomb.

Now it is walking on the wild side of Market Weighton. Why has it abandoned city life?

Well, York was full during Easter and, as the Jaguar would know, there was nowhere to park.
