Officers investigating the death of Ben Coulson have put up these signs calling for help from residents and shoppers in the area where the 27-year-old was hit by a car.
Police hope the appeal - focusing on the Green Lane area of Acomb - will alert new witnesses to the fatal crash.
Talented angler Ben, of Foxwood, York, was hit by a car on March 26 as he crossed Green Lane at 8.30pm. The Vauxhall Cavalier failed to stop.
Ben later died from injuries he suffered in the crash.
Anyone with information about the hit-and-run should phone police on 01904 669724.
