With reference to my own letter dated October 22 last year, in it I quoted York City as just being an average team, well I must wholeheartedly apologise for this incorrect statement.
Regarding the state of the club and what looks likely to happen now, with all that's happened I hope that Douglas Craig and the York City board can sleep at night.
After all the turmoil surrounding the ground in the last two seasons it might have been in the club's interests to concentrate a bit on the team rather than the ground. Like I also said in my letter last year, sacking Terry Dolan after the best season for about eight years, I bet he is laughing his head off now at the state of the club.
I believe he was sacked to cut costs, what price for the League status of the club. It's almost two years now since York City won a match by three clear goals. I wonder if we have lost any matches by three clear goals in the same spell.
