DEVIL horn signs are compulsory while listening to this hard rock live bonanza. Its 14 tracks were taken from the Music As A Weapon II Tour that "shot heavy metal across the US" in Spring, 2003.
Largely made up of songs from tour favourites Disturbed, it also incorporates more meagre offerings from Taproot, Chevelle and Unloco, as they head-bang their way from state to state. The noisy crowd sound as if they enjoyed the experience but it doesn't transfer well and is of limited appeal.
Disturbed - and particularly charismatic frontman David Draiman - are competent enough and work the crowd effortlessly during the stomping, Dehumanized, and a cracking version of the Metallica classic, Fade to Black. Taproot provide the unintentional laughs during Myself.
Vocalist Stephen Richards sounds like Eighties' crooner Paul Young before unleashing a guttural devil roar of pure comic proportions half way through the album. The accompanying DVD of the live shows is very uninspiring and only worth watching for Draiman's strange chin piercing that resembles a goatee beard.
