Rugby union will be in full swing this Easter with the Good Friday Pocklington 7s and the Junior Charity 7s on Sunday.
There will be a new winner in tomorrow's main event after three-times champions Impalas had to drop out because of services commitments.
However, Yorkshire Two champions Beverley have stepped into the breach and will take the York-based Army side's place in the draw, meeting the winners of the Knottingley v Goole encounter.
Tournament director Denzil Styche said: "It's a pity the Impalas had to pull out as they have provided such entertaining rugby in the past few years, but it's great that Beverley have been able to take their place and add to the local sides giving it a go."
But while the Impalas as a unit will not be playing, a number of their Fijian stars will still be playing, led by Charlie Kama, brother of York City Knights' flier, Rob. Their new team, Ronin, will be among the front-runners for the title.
On Sunday, the Junior Charity 7s, sponsored by Pocklington company Agriyork 400 Ltd, will see the pride of East Yorkshire up against the might of Saracens.
The Junior 7s, in aid of Martin House Children's Hospice, has simultaneous competitions at Under-13, U14 and U15 levels, starting at 10am.
