PLEASE can someone tell me what's going wrong at York City?

How can we have been riding high in the Third Division at the start of the season, and be in the situation we find the club now?

The majority of the players who played against Macclesfield have been at the club for most, if not all, of the season. Is this the thanks that the supporters of the club are to get for all the hard work to keep a football club in York?

Surely the players can repay us by keeping the club in the Football League. If their hearts are no longer in playing for York City, for whatever reason, then at the end of the season they will be free to leave and find another club.

In the meantime they are City players and surely must feel they have a duty to repay the hard work by the Supporters' Trust and others by keeping the club in the Football League.

Chris Brass may be cutting his teeth as a football manager and is the youngest one in the Football League, but the players and supporters need to give him the support. Otherwise all the critics and those who knocked the club for appointing a young manager will be coming out of the woodwork crying: "I told you so."

He has worked tirelessly for City, so please let him have some reward.

Come on lads. Let's turn it round in the last seven games and keep City a Football League club.
