MOTORISTS are in a flap after two crows with a rubber fetish began pecking off their windscreen wipers at Askham Bar Park and Ride.
Now Russell and Sheryl face being wiped out by pest exterminators.
Surely we can come up with a more imaginative solution. The council could retrain the crows to only target motorists who park on York's ever-lengthening double yellow lines.
Alternatively, we might pit these feathered felons against the Mansion House pigeons and the Rowntree Park geese, with the victors to be declared Freebirds of the City.
