WE also have "grass verges" damaged in this area by the refuse wagon every Tuesday, owned by the City of York Council (Letters, March 30).
It has been happening for more than two years and, despite complaints, no action has been taken to prevent it.
Not only grass verges are damaged but paving stones are also broken. This was reported last May. A resident actually broke his ankle on a broken paving stone.
It appears they are always short of money to do these jobs, but the tenants and residents of this estate around Rosemary Place and Court are not impressed.
Mr and Mrs J Pettitt,
Rosemary Place,
York.
