AMY Ray and Emily Saliers have been performing together for more than 20 years but sound as fresh as ever here.
The 11 songs, six written by Emily and five by Amy, embrace love, death and the world, their clear voices weaving and soaring throughout. The first and last songs, Fill it Up and Rise Up, are upbeat and strong contrasting with slower numbers such as Free In You and the beautiful Cordova, which are perhaps more recognisable as coming from the Indigo Girls.
There isn't one poor song and a bonus is the use of unexpected instruments, such as a recorder and penny whistle on a couple of the tracks. All That We Let In is the ninth studio album from the duo and it has hardly been out of the CD player since it arrived.
