FRANCINE Cross's exhibition of contemporary painting, drawing and printing, The Topography Of Human Forms, opens at the King's Manor, Exhibition Square, York.
Born in Lille, France, Francine moved to England in 1967 and lives at Dunnington, York. She looks beyond the surface to human anatomy in her art.
"My work represents the harmonious connections between internal machinery and external form. It is fuelled by the relationship of human forms and their environment," she says.
The exhibition will be on display in the Senior Common Room from next week until June 26, Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.
