Nestl Rowntree RUFC braved the weather to produce a one-point victory at West Leeds, having trailed by six points with minutes to go.
A huge performance by the forwards swung the result in the 'Tree's favour after falling behind to an early Leeds try against the wind.
The forwards reacted with a surge up field and scored two tries from James Baldwin and O'Sullivan. Leeds edged back in front with a try, but Nestl pulled out all the stops as Lavender, Norris and O'Sullivan made it 27-12 shortly after half time.
The pacey West Leeds backs got into gear and reversed the lead again to make it 33-27 against the run of play before outstanding Nestl skipper Baldwin crashed over for Ivor Jackson to convert from wide out and seal victory.
