The storm which hit the York area on Saturday washed out ten of the 36 scheduled Leeper Hare York and District League matches and the remaining games were played in gale-force winds.
Pocklington made the most of their home game with Rufforth by winning 6-1 to keep the pressure on premier division leaders Dringhouses, whose game with second-placed Malton Bacon Factory was a casualty of the weather.
Barry Gargett led the way with a hat-trick as Pocklington reached half-time 4-1 up. Mark Ablett, Andy Green and Mike Murr were their other scorers.
Dunnington put six points between themselves and the drop zone with a 6-1 win at Osbaldwick.

Only one division one game survived the weather, Haxby keeping their promotion hopes alive with a 4-1 win at Norwich Union.
Gavin Young (2), Ben Drummond and Paul Dyson scored for Haxby. Matt Devereaux, the Insurance-men's top scorer, managed his side's consolation goal.
Elvington Harriers continued their division two run of form with a 4-0 win at Huby.

Runaway leaders Easingwold won 2-1 at Ouseburn and need only one more win from their last six games to take the title. Micky Raper and Eddie Myers were their marksmen. Darren Horsfield responded for Ouseburn.
Heslington were held to their seventh draw of the season as Moor Lane clawed back a two-goal deficit to finish 2-2.

Four teams are now contesting second spot in division three behind runaway leaders Tockwith.
White Horse got their act together with a 3-1 win against promotion rivals Amotherby & Swinton after a run of indifferent form in recent games.
Jon Sumner, and Scott Griffiths (2) were their scorers and Ben Taylor replied for Amotherby.
