YORK youngsters were joined by Lobo the dog on a ten-mile walk around the city to raise cash for charity.
The Year Ten students from Joseph Rowntree School walked the Centenary Way from Strensall to York Minster in aid of the charity Cardiac Risk In The Young or CRY.
The students attend York Training Centre (YTC) one day a week as part of the Bridge Programme, which helps youngsters learn practical skills.
The YTC programme tutor Kirsty Brien, who owns Lobo, also took part in the walk.
She said: "The students have been sponsored by friends, teachers and family and have been in training for the walk in recent months by trying out other adventurous activities."
She said the total amount raised was not yet known.
