York and District Sunday Afternoon League division one title favourites Clifton stretched their lead to eight points after a 3-0 defeat of College of Law.
Black Dog missed out on a point at St John's College, where they lost 3-2.
In division two, Huntington Juniors kept up their promotion challenge with a 1-0 win over Yearsley, while Forest FC beat hosts Knavesmire 2-1 to keep the pressure on top of the table Cottage Inn.
Tiny Cedarwood 'keeper Neil Leaf kept the Cottage Inn damage to a minimum - but still let in nine goals in his man-of-the-match performance.
The 5ft 1in tall player managed to tip a number of Cottage strikes over the bar and was hailed by both the referee and team-mates for his efforts. Paul Tomlinson, Stevie Attinson and Darren Fox scored to reduce the deficit to 9-3.
Drum also scored nine in an impressive revenge mission after losing to CB United in the league and cup. Ex-Drummer Rob Hurrell scored an own goal to set Drum on their way, while Danny Hendy scored a contender for goal of the season when he chipped the Drum 'keeper straight from the centre circle.
United defender Rich Baker's dedication was praised by manager Sid Smith as he went through the pain barrier for his team with a swollen ankle and bad back.
The York and District Sunday Afternoon League is opening its doors to new teams.
