Two experienced Harrogate estate agents have today launched their own independent high-tech agency using state-of-the-art systems and modern display techniques to deliver what they claim is a new-style of estate agency.
Simon Roberts, 28, and Guy Wigginton, 39, who have some 30 years experience between them, have opened their new business, Wigginton Roberts, in an elegant Grade II-listed building in Princes Square, Harrogate.
Simon said that the firm's sophisticated computer system enabled staff to provide the fastest-possible response to enquiries through the use of text messages, emails and conventional mail.
"This is the future of estate agency service," he said. "We can now send out the details of properties in minutes, rather than days, which it took in the past."
Guy started his property career with Mawson and Walton, in Leeds, and is a former Leeds area manager for Bradford & Bingley's estate agencies. While with Bradford & Bingley, he won the High Achiever Award for the North of England.
Simon also previously worked for Bradford & Bingley, rising to become manager of its Knaresborough operation.
He said: "Having worked together for a number of years, Guy and I understand the importance of personal service. We are totally committed to building a high quality professional business that delivers what our clients want.
"All our staff are fully trained and have a sound local knowledge of the area. This is an essential element for providing helpful, expert advice."
As well as handling residential sales, Wigginton Roberts also offers a number of other valuable services, including independent mortgage advice, residential letting, property management and probate valuations.
